Hours Per Week: 20 Hours, Mon-Thurs 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Position Summary:

The Diocese of Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to departmental staff. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent time management skills, and maintain a warm, respectful, and welcoming approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to case managers, judges, and staff within the diocesan tribunal.
• Respond promptly to incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails correspondence.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing physical mail correspondence.
• Review, organize, and process case-related paperwork and documentation.
• Scan and copy documents for accurate physical and digital filing and record-keeping.
• Create, edit, and secure Adobe PDFs and Microsoft Office documents.
• Assist with the systematic archiving and retrieval of tribunal documents as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• An associate's degree or an equivalent level of relevant experience required.
• 1 to 3 years of professional administrative experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for document management and manipulation.
• Strong aptitude for learning and utilizing various technology and software applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
• Employment is contingent upon applicants satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks.
• Completion of Diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training is required upon hire.
