The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and technical support duties for Glacial Lakes Sanitary Sewer & Water District. This position requires working knowledge of billing processes, customer service protocols, and administrative procedures. Duties include handling customer inquiries, processing payments, supporting billing operations, maintaining records and databases, preparing reports, and providing technical and administrative assistance to staff and the public.

Job Duties

  • Performs a variety of administrative and technical support tasks related to utility operations, including data entry, document processing, and account management.
  • Provides customer service to internal and external stakeholders by responding to inquiries, resolving routine issues, and providing information related to billing, services, and departmental procedures.
  • Maintains and updates records, files, spreadsheets, and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of customer and utility data.
  • Assists in preparing and processing billing-related documents, financial transactions, and account updates in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepares, reviews, and distributes routine and non-routine reports, correspondence, and forms.
  • Supports internal processes by coordinating communications, scheduling appointments, and providing general clerical support to the department.
  • Monitors office supplies and equipment needs; processes supply orders and maintains an organized work environment.
  • Collaborates with other staff and departments to ensure efficient operations and consistent service delivery.
  • Assists with special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or G.E.D; 3 years of administrative support experience, preferably in a utility or billing-related environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
