Job Description
At the direction of the sponsoring organization, the Project Director (PD) is a designated staff member to manage the AmeriCorps Seniors Projects - the Foster Grandparent and the Senior Companion Program volunteers. The PD oversees the projects, abides by grant directives, assist in strategic planning and program development, works cooperatively with sponsors staff, volunteers, volunteer station staff, and officials of the AmeriCoprs Seniors to plan and implement the projects. Assist the Executive Director and Board of Directors to increase funding for projects. Helps plan recognition events for volunteers. Must be a TEAM PLAYER and enjoys working with the public as well as senior adults.,
