Required:

The ideal candidate must possess an earned Ph.D. or Ed.E. in Educational Leadership or closely related field from an accredited institution with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching graduate level courses, academic research and service.

Preferred:

Experience as a practicing educational leader, serving as a principal, assistant superintendent is strongly preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with strong work ethic, interpersonal, and teamwork skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; great disposition; and superior working relations with students, peers, administrators, and others. Experience in teaching courses through Blackboard and web-course development is strongly desired.

Must have the ability to teach a broad range of graduate level Education courses as well as courses in the specialty area of Educational Leadership. Responsibilities include teaching, supervision of practicum and/or internship students, preparing degree plans, advising students, and active participation in departmental and university activities. Teaching assignments are web-based. Primary Responsibilities:

The Annual Security & Fire Safety Report is available online at The report contains information regarding campus safety and security including topics such as: campus law enforcement authority; crime reporting policies; campus alerts (Timely Warnings and Emergency Notifications); fire safety policies and procedures; programs to prevent dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking; the procedures the University will follow when one of these crimes is reported; and other matters of importance related to security on campus. The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in On-Campus Student Housing Facilities; in Noncampus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University or a recognized student organization; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.
