Associate Buyer – Onsite

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic individual who wants to be in a fast-growing, from-the-ground-up company to support the procurement operations for a Formula 1 Racing Performance Power Unit team. This entry-level role is a unique opportunity to work in a great team environment. The Associate Buyer will assist in managing components and equipment critical to our operations and manufacturing. You’ll work alongside experienced buyers and engineers, helping to ensure parts and materials are delivered on time, to spec, and within budget — contributing directly to the team’s performance.

On-Site- Position requires employees to be on-site full-time at the Concord, NC facility

Key responsibilities skills and qualifications:

• Assist in the procurement of components and materials.
• Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantity, and delivery timelines.
• Communicate with approved suppliers to track orders, resolve issues, and obtain documentation (e.g., certifications, specifications).
• On-board new suppliers and set up accounts.
• Maintain accurate records in the team’s procurement and inventory systems.
• Support the evaluation of suppliers based on performance, quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and finance teams to understand demand requirements.
• Support cost control initiatives by identifying opportunities for savings or process improvements.
• Assist in coordinating just-in-time (JIT) deliveries and urgent supply chain needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or business, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
• Basic understanding of procurement processes and supply chain principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Clear communicator, both written and verbal along with keen attention to detail.
• Aptitude for learning as you go.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or related field.
• Automotive and/or Energy industry experience.
• Knowledge of procurement software.
• Knowledge of materials management.
• Knowledge of IFS for procurement and financial management.
