The Audio Visual (AV) Engineer reports into the Stanford University IT Infrastructure AV Technologies Deployment team. This individual will work with stakeholders across the University and partner institutions to understand their vision for a vast range of venues e.g., huddle spaces, conference rooms, classrooms, multi-purpose event locations, auditoriums to develop and implement AV systems to meet their needs.
The responsibilities center around client engagement, AV system consulting and design, implementation oversight, and ensuring the solution functions as intended, and meets the use cases for the venue. The AV Engineer solicits the needs and expectations of the client, creates the design, generates the technical drawings, prepares the equipment list, facilitates estimates for equipment and labor costs, and drafts the client proposal as inputs to the final statement of work. During the project, responsibilities include oversight for the installation and testing of the system, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and facilitating client acceptance of the system.
This is a hybrid eligible position.
The expected pay range for this position is $150,525 - $170,000 per annum.
