We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing all culinary operations related to banquets, meetings, and special events. Key Responsibilities:

- Execute all culinary operations for banquets, meetings, and special events.

- Interpret and execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) with precision.

- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service.

- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

- Contribute to menu planning and development for special events.

- Maintain organization and cleanliness in the kitchen area.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities: Culinary Execution:
  • Prepare and oversee production of banquet menus in alignment with brand standards and guest expectations.
  • Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Stay up to date on culinary trends and adapt menus accordingly.
Banquet Event Order (BEO) Execution:
  • Read, understand, and execute BEOs with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with event and catering managers to confirm all guest needs and event timelines.
  • Adjust preparations in real time based on changes or feedback.
  • Coordinate Food Inventory and ordering with Executive Chef

Time & Resource Management:
  • Organize kitchen operations for timely execution of multi-course meals and large-scale events.
  • Manage prep schedules and timelines to minimize stress and maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure mise en place is ready ahead of service and maintain adaptability for last-minute changes.
Inventory, Ordering & Cost Control:
  • Monitor inventory levels and place timely, accurate food and supply orders.
  • Maintain stock rotation and proper storage procedures.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and waste reduction.
Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure kitchen operations comply with local health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment.
  • Enforce safe food handling and sanitation practices.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume banquet or catering environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.
  • Proficient in reading and executing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Strong cooking and plating skills with experience in large-batch production.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled in time management and handling high-pressure service.
  • Proficient in food ordering, inventory systems, and cost control.
  • ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification required.
