Job Description

We’re seeking a Building Maintenance Technician with strong technical abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for learning and problem-solving. In this role, you’ll help ensure our service centers remain safe, functional, and visually appealing. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively to perform general, routine, and preventive maintenance, as well as emergency repairs across multiple locations. Responsibilities include maintaining building systems and equipment essential to daily operations, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate is eager to grow, brings a customer service mindset, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic electrical repairs such as replacing outlets, light fixtures, light switches, signage lights, ballasts, and others.
• Perform basic plumbing repairs such as replacing faucets, sinks, and toilets.
• Perform general repairs and preventive maintenance on building systems including carpentry, and painting.
• Service and maintain equipment like lifts, pneumatic pumps, air compressors, and other portable equipment.
• Accurately record all maintenance, repair activities, and outcomes.
• Conduct preventive maintenance per assigned schedules and manufacturer recommendations.
• Maintain and organize tools, parts, and materials in company vehicle and storage areas.
• Take part in assigned special projects and occasional emergency repairs
• Work independently and as part of a supportive team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in building/facility maintenance or related field
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• HVAC experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights or in confined spaces
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Have full body mobility and be able to twist, turn, bend at the waist, squat and go up and down stairs.
• Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel between service centers
