Position: Business Intelligence Analyst

Compensation: $55 - $60 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join their team!

Join a dynamic team as their new Business Intelligence Analyst, where you'll be the go-to expert for all things Power BI. As the current analyst transitions to a new role, this is your chance to step in and make an impact. You'll work closely with a small, tight-knit team and have the opportunity to shape the data landscape of the company. This role offers a unique blend of independence and collaboration, perfect for a proactive individual who thrives in a lean environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Oversee daily responsibilities related to Power BI.
  \t
• Pull and integrate data from SQL into Power BI.
  \t
• Build and maintain over 200 Power BI reports.
  \t
• Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting needs.
  \t
• Join data and create temporary tables in Power BI.
  \t
• Facilitate and train others in Power BI usage.
  \t
• Work independently and proactively seek out tasks.
  
  

  Required Qualifications & Experience:

  
  \t
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI.
    \t
  • Experience with DAX and Power Query.
    \t
  • Ability to connect SQL schemas to Power BI views.
    \t
  • Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
    \t
  • Strong presence and ability to command a room.
    
    

    Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

    • Experience with data warehousing and data architecture.
      \t
    • Understanding of business concepts and their technological applications.
      \t
    • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new technologies.
