Job DescriptionJob Description Commercial and Residential Roof Estimator/PM Needed: We are actively searching for a t alented Roofing Estimator/PM to add to our growing team! Our Estimators/PM will oversee the estimation and management of roofing projects from bid preparation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both commercial and residential roofing, with expertise in various roof types, such as TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, metal, tile, and asphalt shingles. This dual-role position requires a mix of fieldwork, client interaction (GC’s), and project oversight, ensuring accurate estimates and seamless project execution. Estimation Duties:

• Site Assessments: Conduct on-site inspections to gather detailed information about the scope of work, including measurements, roof condition, materials required, and any potential challenges.
• Bid Preparation: Prepare comprehensive bids and proposals, including labor, materials, and time estimates for commercial and residential roofing projects. Ensure that bids are competitive and align with company profitability goals.
• Material Sourcing: Determine accurate material quantities and specifications for each project. Work with vendors to obtain the best pricing and ensure timely delivery.
• Client Consultations: Meet with clients to review project requirements, address questions, and ensure a clear understanding of project scope, budget, and timeline.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze the cost of each project and identify ways to improve profitability without compromising quality. Update pricing models based on market trends and labor rates.

Project Managing and Planning & Scheduling:

• Project Scheduling: Coordinate project schedules and resources (Labor/Material) with superintendents to avoid conflicts and maximize productivity.
• Permitting & Compliance: Oversee the process of securing necessary permits, ensuring all projects meet local building codes, zoning regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
• Pre-Construction Meetings: Engages pre-construction meetings with superintendents, clients, and subcontractors to ensure all parties understand project requirements, safety protocols, and expectations.

Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in roofing estimation and project management. Strong knowledge of commercial and residential roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, metal, tile, and asphalt shingles. Excellent communication skills with experience in client-facing roles. Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam) and project management tools.
