We are seeking a talented Commercial Roofing Estimator/Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Overview:

As an Estimator/Project Manager, you will be responsible for biding and overseeing all aspects of assigned commercial roofing projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Estimating & Bidding: Accurately compile bids and generate proposals, making timely site visits to gather necessary information.
  • Vendor Management: Obtain quotes and negotiate prices with vendors and subcontractors while ensuring the highest quality materials.
  • Project Scheduling: Prepare detailed project schedules and phasing plans to keep projects on track.
  • Project Management: Oversee all aspects of assigned commercial roofing and construction projects, from initial estimates to final completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Cost Management: Monitor job costs, manage manpower, and ensure adherence to budgets through regular reviews.
  • On-Site Leadership: Coordinate and supervise (as needed) inhouse employees, and subcontractors, managing multiple projects efficiently while ensuring quality control.
  • Client Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with customers to foster repeat business, maintaining communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation: Organize and maintain all construction documents, prepare purchase orders, and oversee final inspections.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience estimating or project management of complex commercial/industrial roof system projects
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of commercial/industrial roofing system design and installation code compliance and manufacturers requirements for warranty.
  • Proficient with data base estimating and/or digitizer computerize estimating software. Preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Power point, Word
  • Must be a motivated and a “self-starter” with professional appearance
  • Ability to give instructions and clearly explain problems or situation
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Must be team orientated
