The Conflicts Research Analyst processes conflict of interest searches timely and accurately, following very detailed search rules, process documentation and instructions from Intake Analysts. Responsibilities Essential Functions: Searches internal and external databases, as well as Internet sources, for information on companies and individuals for business intake purposes Completes daily search assignments on time, producing high quality conflict reports using state of the art technology tools Handles highly sensitive and confidential search requests Participates in ongoing training on business intake applications, rules and processes as required Responds to inquiries from conflicts lawyers and requesting lawyers about conflict searches, and perform additional research as requested Performs other duties as assigned or required to meet Firm goals and objectives Qualifications Education/Training/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree when the experience has been directly related to the functions of the job Professional Experience: Minimum of one year of applicable research experience, required Previous law firm conflicts research experience, preferred Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, required Online research experience required, company research experience, preferred Performance Traits : Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all levels of the Firm and outside vendors Ability to work in a diverse team environment and effectively support the demanding needs of the Firm Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines with shifting priorities Must be a self-starter with a high level of initiative Strong customer service skills, able to anticipate needs Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion Exercises solid strategic thinking and problem-solving skills The typical pay scale for this position is between $67,900 and $89,800, although the actual wage or salary could be lower or higher if the candidate’s education, experience, skills and internal pay alignment are different from those specified.
