Responsibilities

• Work alongside a team of estimators ranging from entry-level to senior-level with a desire to mentor and coach lower-level estimators.
• Preconstruction provide preconstruction services, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Bid Preparation develop scopes of work, qualify subcontractor bids, complete bid forms, and submit to owners.
• Bid Award transfer bid documentation to the construction team, review and suggest modifications to owner contracts, and issue subcontracts.
• Continuous Improvement develop procedures for each area of responsibility and continually review job responsibilities for areas to improve or streamline.

Work Characteristics

The successful candidates must be flexible, well organized, and work well in a team environment. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are required. Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written, are necessary. Candidates must possess good time management and problem-solving skills.

Skills/Experience

• Work Experience At least 25 years of experience in Estimating for Retail or Medical Office sectors.
• Software Advanced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Microsoft Project). Proficient in Bluebeam, Bidmail, and CMIC are ideal.
• Goal oriented Ability to meet set goals.
• Organizational ability able to plan, prioritize, organize and monitor projects/tasks.
