Role Description

The Controller role at Trademark Visual is a full-time, salary position. This is an on-site opportunity located in Phoenix, AZ near Sky Harbor. The ideal candidate has a hands-on mindset with experience in the construction industry and is familiar with a family/owner-led environment.

The role entails the following:

• Oversee all accounting functions (A/P, A/R & Payroll). Complete daily accounting tasks, manage job costing, and ensure accurate month-end close and financial reporting.
• Work closely with ownership and operations to support day-to-day decisions and financial stability. Regularly interact with key company managers.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules. Ensure accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP.
• Analyze project profitability and cost variances.
• Ensure compliance with tax filings, sales/use tax, payroll tax, and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist with year-end close and provide support to external CPA.

Qualifications & Key Competencies

• 10 years’ experience in Accounting Management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Strong Excel skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools (QuickBooks or similar).
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Comfortable doing detailed transactional work. Practical problem-solver with strong follow-through.

Compensation

• 90k-110k annual salary plus bonus.
