Aerodyn Engineering is hiring a skilled EDM Machinist to support our growing aerospace and high-performance machining operations in Indianapolis, IN . In this hands-on role, you’ll work with exotic materials and complex components using Mitsubishi EDM machines in a clean, climate-controlled facility. Key Responsibilities \n

\n
• Set up and operate Wire EDM machining centers (Mitsubishi controls)
\n
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, GD&T , and customer specifications
\n
• Machine high-performance alloys such as Inconel, Hastelloy, 17-4 stainless , and others
\n
• Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges) to inspect parts
\n
• Maintain tight tolerances (down to 0.0001") on complex components
\n
• Collaborate with engineers and CNC programmers to meet customer deadlines
\n
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace
\n

✅ Qualifications \n

\n
• 3–5 years of EDM machining experience , preferably in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing
\n
• Experience with Mitsubishi EDM equipment preferred
\n
• Strong knowledge of G-code/M-code ; Mastercam experience is a plus
\n
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot during setup and operation
\n
• Comfortable working with stainless and heat-resistant alloys
\n
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
\n
• Willingness to work 1st or 2nd shift — flexible scheduling available
\n
