Position Summary Ag Express Electronics is seeking an Electronics Repair Technician to join our Service team in Sulphur Springs, Indiana. In this role you will perform repairs on a wide range of electronic and electro‑mechanical equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot defects, and use hand tools, soldering irons, and diagnostic software to reduce equipment downtime. You will document repairs, communicate with customers, and continually improve repair processes. Key Responsibilities Repair electronics and electro‑mechanical equipment such as servos, flow meters, grain analysis equipment, monitoring and control equipment, and vehicle instrumentation. Replace defective components, run wiring, adjust mechanical parts, and perform routine preventive maintenance. Disassemble and reassemble devices to locate and fix defects. Evaluate faulty units and diagnose causes of malfunction. Test components with oscilloscopes, signal generators, ammeters, voltmeters, and diagnostic software. Align, calibrate, and adjust equipment to meet specifications and quality standards. Interpret schematics and implement practical solutions efficiently. Maintain detailed repair, calibration, and test records using computerized systems. Track and report on repair job status and parts usage. Collaborate with customers to provide support and manage inquiries. Participate in ongoing training and suggest improvements to repair processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, ammeters, and voltmeters. Proficiency with hand tools and soldering irons for component replacement. Basic calculation skills for measurements. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated willingness to continuously learn and develop new skills. Excellent attention to detail and record‑keeping skills. Associate’s degree in electronics technology or equivalent work experience. Proven experience repairing and maintaining electronics and electro‑mechanical equipment. Computer proficiency with standard office applications (e.g., MS Office 365). Physical Requirements Manual dexterity to manipulate small components and wires. Lifting and carrying equipment or materials up to a specified limit. Standing, walking, and working around the facility for limited periods. Good visual acuity for reading diagrams and inspecting components. Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk or workstation. Perform repetitive motions using ergonomic practices to prevent strain injuries. Adherence to safety protocols to minimize electrical hazards.
