Salary: $25-35 an hour

Electrical Estimator

Location : Harrison, OH

Compensation : $25-35 an hour

Responsibilities :

• Review bid documents, drawings, and specifications to determine project scope.
• Perform basic electrical takeoffs (lighting, branch circuits, devices, feeders, small systems) using onscreen takeoff software.
• Input takeoff data into estimating software and maintain organized records.
• Gather vendor and subcontractor quotes for materials and specialty systems.
• Assist with applying labor units, project-specific adjustments, and proposal documentation.
• Participate in bid reviews and team meetings.
• Learn and apply company estimating standards, procedures, and safety practices.

Qualifications :

• Associate Degree or trade school training in Electrical Construction, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred
• Previous field experience as an apprentice, foreman, or technician is a plus
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and construction methods.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Previous experience with Estimating Software is a plus
• Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
