Position: Freshman Coach Girls' Basketball Coach at RHS Qualifications and Requirements: * High School Diploma or GED; licensed instructor preferred.
* Valid New Mexico Coaching licensure or eligibility.
* Attain NMAA Coaching Certifications.
* Must demonstrate willingness to work in a cooperative working environment.
* Strong reading, written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
* Preference given to certified staff.
* CDL preferred or willingness to obtain CDL.
Responsibilities *Primary duties include assisting the head basketball coach.
*Working knowledge of rules and regulations of the sport involved.
*Ability to work well with students, staff, and parents.
*Ability to work productively as part of a team.
*Ability to work a flexible schedule.
*Other duties as assigned.

a. Required to lift or carry classroom supplies, textbooks, furniture, and equipment to a minimum of 35 pounds;
b. Required to maintain composure and avoid inappropriate displays of emotion;
c. Required to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, grab, pull, hear, see, and speak on a daily basis;
d. Required to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding, writing, and reading;
e. Required to monitor students in a variety of locations including those with noise, activity, inclement weather;
f. Sitting, walking, standing are a regular requirement;
g. Flexibility of bending and twisting at the neck and truck are a regular requirement;
h. Occasional travel in school owned or leased vehicles while supervising and assisting students may be required.
Contract Period: 2024-25 School Year
Start Date: 2024-25 season
