POSITION SUMMARY

A Growing Commercial Tire Company is scaling rapidly and requires a high-capacity General Manager, who can configure systems for scale & build new operational structures, develop financial efficiencies, scale the company professionally in-line with the company vision. The goal is to be Hawaiis most customer-centric, data-driven, quality-first commercial tire company.

This General Manager will be mentored directly by the Founder & CEO, and must be able to manage up , anticipate problems, and proactively remove obstaclesensuring the CEO can focus on expansion, innovation, and major account acquisitions. The key objective is for the General Manager to be able to interpret, contextualize and implement the CEO's vision.

This role is designed for a humble, strong, organized leader capable of combining operational systems, guidance and empowerment for staff, financial discipline, sales leadership, new sales development, relationship excellence, and Vision Implementation to all staff members and clients into a unified, FOCUSED , growth engine.

CORE TASKS OF GENERAL MANAGER (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

Develop a modern, efficient OPERATIONAL STRUCTURE for all employees

  • Build clear workflows, SOPs, communication channels, accountability systems, and reporting structures that scale with our growth.

  • Ensure every department (sales, warehouse, mobile service, accounting) operates in sync.

  • Be an expert at leveraging our management software, & digital management systems.

  • Mentor and train our key employees to be just as ADEPT as The General Manager at wielding our enterprise software platforms.

Manage efficient FINANCIAL SYSTEMS with efficient AP to vendors and fast AR from customers

  • Improve & manage end-to-end system where:

    • Instant Invoicing and Collections

    • Customers Net Payment agreements are kept

    • Vendors are paid promptly

    • Cashflow is predictable, smooth, transparent, and audit-ready

    • Establish trusted relationships with our Customers and Vendors Accounting Personnel

  • Remove bottlenecks in billing, service documentation, and collections.

  • Build financial discipline across the company.

  • CRITICAL Manage Positive Cashflow

Manage REAL-TIME FINANCIAL DASHBOARD for Executives and Sales Team

  • Manage a daily financial DASHBOARD Asset view & movements

  • LEVERAGE the Data - Empower faster decision-making

Train and Empower All Employees to Become Proactive Problem Solvers

  • Develop internal education programs focused on proactive communication, situational awareness, and customer-centered problem resolution.

  • Develop structured unduplicated playbooks for each Sales Team:

    • Consultants / Mobile Service TECH Pros & Order Takers

Increase Warehouse Efficiency & Inventory Management Excellence

  • Actively Improve organization, categorization, and flow of inventory in all locations.

  • Manage inventory loss, mislabeling, warranties, returns and delays.

  • Develop predictable receiving, stocking, ordering, and cycle count systems.

  • Ensure the warehouse stays in line with our scaling and volume fluctuations

Excel at Relationship-Building with Customers, Vendors, Nonprofits & Political Stakeholders

  • Represent our company in a respectful professional manner in the community.

  • Build goodwill with nonprofit partners and local political leaders (infrastructure, port, transportation).

  • Open doors for future expansion and related opportunities.

Increase the impact of Customer Service, and Quality Products

  • Maintain & Elevate our brand promise.

  • Improve service speed, professionalism, accuracy, and proactive communication.

  • Advocate for Healthy Employees

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven ability to build systems, processes, and operational structure.

  • Strong financial acumen.

  • Experience training sales teams

  • Executive maturity, emotional intelligence, and ability to manage up.
