Job Summary and Qualifications The Patient Care Technician (PCT) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care by performing essential tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your responsibilities will include: Implementing nursing care plans through both direct and indirect patient assistance. Collecting and documenting patient information accurately, including vital signs and intake/output data. Assisting with patient mobility, including transfers and ambulation, using proper techniques. Helping in the collection of diagnostic specimens and ensuring correct labeling. Supporting patients with daily living activities and maintaining cleanliness in their environment. Occasionally serving as a Monitor/Telemetry Tech for the unit. Engaging in best practices that enhance patient satisfaction and safety. Qualifications Needed: Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment. No travel is required, and no previous experience is necessary.
