About the Role

A Market Research Manager collaborates with a team to design and execute large-scale research studies. The ideal candidate will have experience managing all phases of qualitative and quantitative research from design through reporting. This position is full time, located in Austin, TX or remote.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire research project including project management, questionnaires and discussion guide design, data collection, developing analysis plans and writing interpretive, analytical reports.
• Own client communication to ensure their objectives are met and all project milestones and deliverables stay on schedule.
• Manage team of internal resources and external vendors, mentoring and training junior staff members.
• Formulate executive-level analysis, telling the story of each research project and crafting a compelling summary that utilizes visuals/infographics.
• Oversee all project-related meetings, including client meetings, internal brainstorming sessions and vendor meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business, math, statistics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in custom market research, with expertise in managing the entire research lifecycle from design through reporting.

Required Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
• Experience with business (B2B) research is preferred.
• Highly proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Curiosity, a natural desire to answer complex questions, and a dedication to lifelong learning and intellectual challenges.
• Experience in the tech industry a plus.
