Salary:

The T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies is seeking a Virtual Marketing Assistant. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Program Directors to manage campaigns, track performance metrics, develop content for our campaigns, and use email marketing to connect with our current community and reach new audiences. This role requires excellent communication skills, creativity, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Essential Functions:

  • Helps organize and execute all marketing campaigns for all in-person events and all online learning initiatives.
  • Oversees marketing funnels for all initiatives.
  • Works closely with the President, the Social Media and Digital Ads Coordinators, and the Newsletter Editor to ensure all initiatives and programs are effectively promoted.
  • Manages day-to-day operations, including coordinating the marketing calendar and handling correspondence.
  • Conducts research to gather information on industry trends, activities, and customer behavior.
  • Assists in creating promotional materials (and content) to be used in print and digital media, which involves coordinating with copyediting and graphic designers.
  • Monitors the key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of marketing endeavors, updating reports and spreadsheets with the latest analytics.
  • Special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications and/or marketing, or equivalent experience
  • Energetic self-starter who can think creatively, resourcefully, and strategically
  • Strong oral and written communication, customer service, marketing, and organizational skills
  • Experience coordinating social media platforms
  • Experience in lead generation funnels
  • Experience in Marketing Analytics
  • Knowledge of marketing trends and techniques
  • Time management skills
  • Experience in the plant-based world
  • Proficient in Google, Microsoft Office suite, and Mailchimp.
  • Non-profit experience preferred
  • Commitment to the mission, values, and goals of CNS
