Marathon Petroleum Corporation, a leading American petroleum refining, marketing, and transportation company, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Registered Nurse to join our health services team at our Findlay, Ohio headquarters. This role focuses on promoting and protecting the health and wellness of our employees through comprehensive occupational health services. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in managing occupational health care, emergency response, and regulatory compliance within our bustling industrial environment. Administer first aid and emergency medical care as required, ensuring compliance with both company protocols and industry standards. Manage and conduct health screenings and assessments related to occupational health such as hearing tests and respiratory fitness. Assist in the development and execution of workplace health programs including vaccination drives, employee wellness seminars, and health risk assessments. Maintain detailed records of injuries, treatments, and health assessments in accordance with legal and company requirements. Collaborate with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring a safe working environment. Provide training and guidance to employees on occupational health practices and preventative measures. Stay updated with the latest regulatory requirements and best practices in occupational health care. Proficient in emergency medical procedures and occupational health nursing. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels of staff. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of regulatory health frameworks applicable to the petroleum industry is preferred.
