The School of Theatre and Dance (school-of-theatre-and-dance) at West Virginia University invites applications for part-time Adjunct positions to teach undergraduate, graduate, or non-credentialled courses.

The School currently offers the following programs:

Graduate Programs

• Acting MFA


• Costume Design and Technology MFA


• Lighting Design and Technology MFA


• Scenic Design and Technology MFA


• Technical Direction MFA

Undergraduate Programs

• Acting BFA


• Dance BA


• Musical Theatre BFA


• Theatre BA


• Theatre Design and Technology BFA

Qualifications

Adjunct teaching positions prefer candidates that possess a terminal degree (master's or doctoral) in a closely related discipline, along with related professional experience. Candidates that possess a bachelor's degree in a related discipline along with substantial, highly specialized industry experience will also be considered.

Applications submitted through the online form will remain active for the calendar year in which they are submitted. Salary is established on a per-course basis. These positions are not anticipated to be benefits-eligible.
