ICP DAS USA is a small business that has been in business for over 20 years. Our headquarters is in Houston TX. We manufacture our equipment in Taiwan and sell and support industrial automation equipment for control and monitoring systems. We talk to customers by phone, email and web chat and help them with quotes, orders, status updates and support. We help machine builders, engineering firms, systems integrators and R&D teams with control and monitoring solutions. We are looking for someone to join our team in Houston, TX that will create graphics and help with front end web development. They will create marketing content and assist in the design and build of our new website and maintenance of our old website. We are looking to fill this position ASAP. Tasks Create graphics as needed for product promotion Maintain and improve websites Collaborate with back-end developer and others to improve user experience and customer journey Stay up to date with emerging technologies Ensure graphic quality, website quality and brand consistency Test website functions and help others as needed Assist with documentation Create marketing assets Requirements Expertise in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and Responsive Design Proficient in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop Strong work ethic Detail oriented Able to manage priorities and deadlines Collaborative and team-oriented At least 1-2 years of experience Please provide portfolio of project samples for consideration including graphics designed and web development projects. Please outline what you did for each project. Benefits Paid time off, paid holidays, company lunches and flexible working schedule. This is a part-time, in-house position at our office in Houston, Texas. Pay range is $25-$30 per hour. The schedule is flexible Monday through Friday. We prefer at least 3 years experience.
