General Description

The Parts Runner Representative will report directly to the assigned building Parts Supervisor. You will deliver comprehensive and appropriate solutions for each internal or external client to drive top-line revenue growth, acquisition and profitability levels. Responsible for delivering to internal customers [Automotive Technicians] the different parts requested from each service workshop under different atmospheric climates. Maintaining control and good management of physical inventory. Being responsible for the dispatch, collection, storage, disposal of materials and parts as appropriate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and dispatch product orders or deliveries to Automotive Technicians in the different F40 workshops that include the Collection, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Hyundai and Jaguar/Land Rover units, mainly the Collection area that includes Ferrari.
• Responsible for the dispatch of parts that leave the warehouse and arrive at the workshop in a timely, effective and safe manner.
• Always read and check catalog on computer for replacement part stock number and cost.
• Use of the Tekion system and any other system assigned for the dispatch of parts such as Pick Ticket Printer.
• Analyzes the use and condition of the characteristics of parts prior to delivery and at the time of receiving them from the technician.
• Advises the technician on the replacement or modification of parts when the replacement is not available this with the assistance of a parts salesperson or supervisor.
• Read store manuals to determine part type and specification, both in hard copy and electronic formats. For the purpose of identifying exactly the correct parts for the make, model and year of the vehicles being loaned.
• Examine the returned part to determine if it is defective and if it is warranted, put it in the “scrapping” area. These parts must be shipped with the required documentation or included requested by the manufacturer.
• Marks and stores parts in the warehouse according to the pre-reorganized system.
• Receives and organizes parts orders.
• Responsible for inventory and gradually counting existing parts. Daily spot checks. Maintaining a record of parts received and issued from the warehouse periodically.
• Track all incoming and outgoing parts from a dealership, using the parts log.
• Locating available parts when inventory is out of stock. If necessary, obtain a local part or from the manufacturer.
• Make reference to the company's Employee Manual.
• Listen and observe the situations that arise from Automotive Technicians to maximize their satisfaction and inform the immediate supervisor
• Help achieve established sales objectives and results within the agreed deadline.
• Follow established itinerary for receipt and dispatch of parts and materials.

Requirements

• School Degree-Fourth Year/Equivalence or Associate Degree in general
• Knowledge of car parts, makes and models
• Experience in inventory management and parts estimates
• Customer Service Experience
• Current driver's license
• Knowledge of the English language preferably
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of the Parts Catalog system
