As a Security Professional - Armed Government Site in Clearwater, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more.

As a member of the Allied Universal team in a government location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout your assigned area. In this armed post, you will be responsible for responding to incidents, assisting with access control, and providing exceptional customer service to all individuals on site. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming atmosphere. This position requires you to carry a firearm and possess a valid armed guard card or license. Additionally, you must have a valid driver's license in the job state, as driving responsibilities are part of this role. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related incidents according to site protocols.
• Interact with visitors, staff, and the public in a professional manner while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or have an equivalent qualification.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state or local regulations.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
