Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator

Location: Saddle Brook, NJ (On-Site)

As our Purchasing + Logistics Coordinator, based on-site in Saddle Brook, NJ, you will be responsible for sourcing and tracking everything we need to keep our operations humming—raw materials, packaging, supplies, and more.

You’ll be part problem-solver, part negotiator, part inventory guru—and fully essential to our team. If you’re someone who thrives on ownership, thinks proactively, and loves solving problems before they exist, this is your role.

• Order Management: Place and track purchase orders for raw materials, packaging, and equipment. Own the process from request to receipt.
• Scheduling Coordination: Organize and manage pick-up and delivery schedules for each order based on inventory, vendor availability, and production timelines.
• Inventory Management: Keep a pulse on inventory levels. Collaborate with the warehouse to anticipate needs and prevent shortages or overages.
• Communication: Keep vendors and internal teams aligned—especially when there are changes, delays, or cancellations.
• Receiving Management: Generate accurate, clear labels for inbound shipments with full item descriptions for streamlined receiving.
• Vendor Relations: Build, maintain, and grow vendor relationships. Negotiate pricing and terms when needed and serve as a reliable point of contact.
• Entrepreneurial Ownership: Constantly look for ways to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency in purchasing and scheduling.
• Problem Solving: Handle delivery issues, payment conflicts, or quality concerns quickly and professionally.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of vendor contacts, POs, schedules, pricing, and performance data.
• Data Reporting: Analyze purchasing trends and prepare reports to inform operational planning and support smarter decisions.

• 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or operations (bonus points for food manufacturing)
• A business-minded thinker who’s proactive, resourceful, and thrives in fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
