Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Core Python: Strong understanding of data structures, OOP, concurrency (asyncio/threading), and error handling.
Frameworks: Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask for web/API development.
Data & Processing: Pandas, NumPy; familiarity with PySpark or Dask for large datasets is a plus.
Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), ORMs (SQLAlchemy/Django ORM); NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
Testing: pytest/unittest, mock, coverage; TDD/BDD exposure beneficial.
Version Control: Git, branching strategies, PR workflows.
CI/CD & DevOps: GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps; Docker; basic Kubernetes understanding preferred.
Cloud: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services (e.g., Lambda/Functions, S3/Blob, RDS/Cloud SQL).
Security & Compliance: Secure coding, secrets management, dependency scanning, API auth (OAuth2/JWT).
Observability: Logging (structlog/logging), metrics (Prometheus), tracing (OpenTelemetry).

Roles & Responsibilities

Application Development & Engineering.
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Python applications supporting Investment Banking and Capital Markets platforms.
Build scalable, reusable, and well-tested Python modules for:

o Trading systems o Risk analytics o Pricing & valuation engines o P&L and regulatory reporting.

Apply object-oriented and functional programming principles to deliver maintainable solutions.
Optimize Python code for performance, latency, and memory usage.
