As a Breakfast & Lunch Server at the Hilton Bloomington, you will tailor the dining experience to each guest providing food and beverage services in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in a superior level of guest satisfaction. Join our team and become part of our legacy of excellence in hospitality and making every stay truly memorable! What will you be doing? Greet guests and explain specials & promotions. Understand menu including ingredients and preparation of the dishes to the delivery and service expected to accompany the dish. Record and input guest orders into the Point of Sale system. Retrieve, confirm, and deliver orders with condiments; follow liquor regulations. Replenish beverages and ensure overall guest satisfaction. Collect payment, thank guests, and invite them to return. Complete side work and cleaning tasks including restocking and replenishing condiments. Address and resolve guest complaints. What do you bring to the role? Ability to work Breakfast and Lunch shift High school degree or equivalent preferred Must have high level knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, etiquette, appropriate table settings, service ware, and menu items. One year or more of service in a fine dining outlet required. Handle customer complaints with empathy and provide proactive solutions. Proficient in English for guest requests, memos, and reservations. Ability to work POS system and cash handling experience preferred. What’s in it for you?
