Job Description:
The Senior Accounting Specialist will be responsible for handling a variety of accounting tasks, with a focus on reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly closing activities. Key responsibilities include:
• Accurately recording bank deposits, bills, and commissions in QuickBooks (or equivalent software).
• Reviewing and uploading commission statements to the appropriate department.
• Reconciling commission activity and supporting integration between Salesforce and internal systems.
• Printing and mailing checks, as well as preparing ACH payments.
• Reviewing the General Ledger and assisting with monthly allocations by class.
• Investigating discrepancies and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Supporting month-end close processes and related financial reconciliations.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience, with emphasis in AP/AR and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Strong numerical accuracy and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
