About the Job:

Anglepoint is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering team, playing a key role in building and scaling our software solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust back-end systems that power our platforms. This is a vital-impactful role that requires strong technical expertise, collaboration across cross-functional teams, and a passion for delivering scalable, secure, and efficient software.

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications from concept to production.

  • Implementing features and functionality for web applications using appropriate technologies and frameworks.
  • Optimizing applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
  • Integrating third-party APIs and services as needed.
  • Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to other team members.

Who You Are:

  • 6+ years of experience as a full stack engineer.
  • 5 + years of expert-level knowledge of React and Typescript
  • 3+ years extensively using cloud-native services using 2 cloud providers such as AWS & Azure.
  • Hands-on experience in consuming and managing data using GraphQL with Apollo Client
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies wide variety of modern front-end & web programming languages such as jQuery, React, Go, etc. and a deep knowledge of their relative pros & cons.
  • 7+ years of professional backend end development with technologies such as Node, Typescript, Postgres, Redis, RabbitMq, etc.
  • Proficiency in functional programming paradigm, concurrency, relational databases, and API design (RESTful, GraphQL, etc).
  • Familiarity with AWS services like S3 and CloudFront
  • Hands-on experience using RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Advanced knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • A keen eye for design principles and user experiences best practices.
  • Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and responsive design techniques.
  • 5+ years of professional frontend end development. (HTML, CSS, JS)
  • Proficiency in UX design (layout, flow, design, accessibility), and application state management.
  • Experience with deploying (CDNs / Bundlers) and cross browser support.
  • Familiarity with Feature Flagging.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to debug and resolve complex technical challenges independently.
  • Experience mentoring junior developers or leading small technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree(s) in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience as a full-stack software engineer.
