Job Title - Senior Quality Assurance Manager

Location - Monroe, NC (25 miles Southeast of Charlotte)

Reports to - General Manager

Job Summary :

The Maples Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager for its Private Equity client to lead and optimize quality assurance operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role requires a highly skilled problem solver with deep expertise in statistical analysis, lean process management, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma and a proven track record in Kaizen events and DMAIC methodology.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee quality control processes, ensuring compliance with ISO and other industry standards.
• Utilize statistical analysis tools to monitor defects, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
• Drive lean process management activities, including Kaizen events, DMAIC problem-solving, and operational excellence programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and product reliability.
• Manage supplier quality assessments, ensuring consistency in raw material specifications and performance.
• Mentor and train quality engineers and production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Develop and present quality metrics reports to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
• Identify and mitigate risk factors, implementing preventive measures to ensure long-term production stability.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 8-15 years of experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, and process improvement.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification with hands-on experience in Kaizen events, DMAIC methodology, and continuous improvement strategies.
• Strong expertise in statistical analysis tools such as Minitab, Statistical Process Controls, Design of Experiments, and Regression analysis.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage and optimize quality assurance programs in electrical utilities, aerospace, automotive, electronics, or related industries.
