Special Education Teacher Job (LBS1)

Location: Naperville, IL Area

We’re looking for a passionate Special Education Teacher with an Illinois LBS1 license for a full-time position in the Naperville, IL area . This is an onsite school-based role with flexibility to choose a morning or afternoon start time , making it a great fit for both experienced educators and new graduates.

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois LBS1 Special Education teaching license (required)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education

• School-based or pediatric experience (preferred)

• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)

• New graduates encouraged to apply

Schedule & Location:

• Full-time, Monday–Friday

• Morning or afternoon schedule based on candidate preference

• Onsite at a public school in the Naperville, IL area

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction aligned with IEP goals

• Modify lessons to support diverse learning needs

• Collaborate with general ed teachers, related service providers, and families

• Participate in IEP meetings and ensure IDEA/state compliance

• Track and report student progress
