Active - Benefit Eligible and Accrues Time Off Work Hours per Biweekly Pay Period: 80.00 Shift : M-F with Rotating Weekends/Holidays Location : 1324 Lakeland Hills Blvd Lakeland, FL Pay Rate : Min $25.23 Mid $31.54Position Summary Working under the supervision of the Manager of Procedural Cardiovascular Operations, the EMU/EEG/EKG Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the EMU, EEG, and EKG departments and staff. He/she is responsible for performing professional and technical duties as a working EEG/EMU/EKG technician, as well as supervisory duties which includes coaching and mentoring, collaborating with and motivating staff, leading by example, performance evaluation and development, counseling, rounding and conflict management. Oversees all aspects of Certifications and Accreditations in the departments, and assures compliance with all areas of accreditation. May provide staff education and training. He/she also upholds, develops, and maintains hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Is a leading example of our Promises and provides exceptional customer service. Standard Work Duties: Supervisor - EMU EEG EKG Responsible for reporting Monthly Volumes and Monthly Revenue for all EEG, EMU and EKG procedures. Responsible for staff scheduling, performance reviews, coaching, counseling. Responsible for maintaining staff competencies approving calls, sending call schedules to answering service, ETO, and publishing schedule in API. Responsible for printing outpatient EEG schedule and make sure to check all EEGs charts for orders or contact the physician. Responsible for troubleshooting floor EKG floor machines. Perform EEGs and hook up VEEGs in EEG department and in patients on floors with portable units. Responsible for assigning EKG equipment to the floors and handling exceptions. Cleaning EEG logs. Responsible for any billing issues in EEG and VEEG (includes re-ordering, back dating, crediting charges, etc). Responsible for reviewing department charges with CDM Coordinator, yearly.
