The Williston Northampton School, an independent co-educational boarding and day school located in Easthampton, MA, is seeking a temporary paid Technology Services Intern to support the Technology Team.
Reporting to the Director of IT Services, the Intern will provide technical support by; providing first level support to students, faculty and staff; staffing the Help Desk 10-20 hours per week; assisting with ZenDesk ticket triaging; troubleshooting laptops, printers, mobile devices; coordinating repairs and warranty service tasks; assisting with managing network user accounts; providing basic network support, i.e. drive mapping, IP conflict resolution; support classroom AV setups; other duties as assigned. The qualified candidate should: be enrolled in or have recently completed a course of study in the technology field, and have a basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software products. The candidate should also have demonstrated organizational and time management skills; written and oral communication skills. must be able to work intuitively and independently. Must have the ability to work in a school environment by successful completion of all legally required and school required background checks including the state mandated CORI, Criminal Offender Record Information, SORI, Sex Offender Record Information, and fingerprint based criminal background check.
