Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tire & Tool Technician to join our team. This role involves tire inspection, preparation, and installation of tire sealant products, assembly of installation tools, as well as supporting field demonstrations, technical service, and customer education. There will be times that he/she must support other Warehouse and Production Activities as well. The ideal candidate will have hands-on tire service experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect demo tires for wear, damage, and repairability.
Mount demo tires on units for various industries (light-duty, commercial, industrial, and off-road as applicable).
Apply and install tire sealant products per company standards.
Conduct quality checks to ensure proper tire performance after sealant application.
Assist in product testing, demonstrations, and customer training.
Maintain accurate inventory tracking.
Operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
Assemble installation tools as required (small install fittings, tools, attachments, and specialty install equipment).
Support warehouse operations (packaging of sealant products, preparing shipments, etc) when needed.
Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures.
Requirements:Qualifications
Prior experience as a Tire Technician, Tire Installer, or related automotive service role.
Familiarity with tire mounting, balancing, and repair equipment.
Mechanical skills and ability to use hand and power tools.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in a physically active environment.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Willingness to travel for field service or customer support as needed.
Knowledge of tire sealant products a plus (training provided).
