Position Summary The
Traffic / Shipping Coordinator II takes daily direction from the department lead and serves as a backup to the lead when necessary. Responsibilities include shipping, receiving, and electronic processing of orders. Putting away inventory and picking / packing items for orders.
Job Functions: - Physical shipping and receiving of items to/from internal and external customers globally.
- Computer based inventory processing and document preparation.
- Works with material handlers as a labor resource when needed.
- Fulfills product orders, including picking, packing and shipment of products when necessary.
- Loading and unloading trucks via forklift or palette jack when needed.
- Participates in cycle counts.
- Maintain an organized and safe environment with routine housekeeping in all work areas.
- Works with the management as a subject matter expert in the creation of standards & processes.
- Perform all other duties assigned.
Position Requirements/Qualifications: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Experience working in an inventory distribution or shipping & receiving environment is desired but not required.

- Must have experience using a personal computer. Experience with MRP/ERP or other inventory software a plus.
- Must possess organizational & time management skills.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, in the English language.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people with varying levels of education, expertise and backgrounds.
- Ability to become SG certified on forklifts. Previous experience is a plus.
Qualifications Education Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
