**Exciting Opportunity for a Medical Laboratory Scientist!**\n\n**Job Description**\n\n- Are you ready to elevate your career in a dynamic hospital-based laboratory? \n- Join our team as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, where your expertise in Microbiology will shine! \n- Work with a diverse patient population including infants, children, adults, and geriatrics.\n- Enjoy the challenge of performing all levels of testing, including high complexity analyses.\n \n**Key Responsibilities:**\n \n- Conduct a full range of sample test analyses, ensuring accuracy and reliability in results.\n- Resolve complex technical issues affecting patient care, making critical decisions that can impact lives.\n- Write and update laboratory procedures using CLSI format, contributing to a culture of excellence.\n- Establish and maintain quality control programs, ensuring adherence to established performance specifications.\n- Train and mentor new staff, sharing your wealth of knowledge and expertise in laboratory practices.\n \n**Qualifications:**\n \n- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field.\n- A minimum of one year of progressive clinical experience or one year of hospital internship post-degree.\n- Active clinical certification from either AMT or ASCP.\n\n**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:**\n \n- Strong understanding of high complexity testing and laboratory operations.\n- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and software applications.\n- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.\n- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.\n- Proficiency in quality control and regulatory compliance.\n\n**Shift Information:**\n \n- Flexibility required for day or night shifts and on-call rotations.\n\n**Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
