Candidates must be available for holiday scheduling with rotations of 7p-7a / 7a-7p (2x12s). Part-time hours: 24 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional clinical skills and a commitment to patient care, ensuring the provision of high-quality nursing services to our critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting, monitoring and assessing patients' needs.


• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.


• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document all patient care activities accurately.


• Effectively communicate with patients and their families regarding care plans and updates.


• Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in New York State.


• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA/RQI certs) required during clinical orientation.


• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.


• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.


• Experience in clinical settings, particularly in the ICU, is preferred.
