Job Summary :

The Financial Planning Analyst will help our organization by analyzing data, creating forecasts, and providing insights to support strategic decision making.

Kevin Kelley Concepts is in the heart of downtown Dallas and we are growing our Finance and Accounting team. We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Planning Analyst to join our team. This position is a full-time member of the Kevin Kelley Concepts team, not a contractor, and is 100% on-site at our office in the city lights of downtown Dallas.

Financial Planning Analyst Job Responsibilities:

• Manages financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Creates variance analysis reports and financial models.
• Leads real-time financial performance monitoring.
• Escalates any financial issues to senior leadership.
• Sets and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
• Completes market research and comparable company analysis.
• Recommends strategies for increasing financial performance.
• Presents detailed monthly financial reports to senior leadership.
• Collaborates with senior members of the accounting and finance teams.

Financial Planning Analyst Qualifications and Skills :

• Willingness and ability to work 100% on-site in downtown Dallas
• Experience supporting a start-up organization highly desired.
• Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous environment, with changing priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Certified public accountants (CPA) or certified financial analysts (CFA) are preferred.
• Proven experience as a Financial Planning Analyst
• Demonstrates excellent financial and quantitative skills.
• Communicates effectively and has strong presentation skills.
• Collaborates well with colleagues using adept social skills.
• Works independently using project management skills.
• Builds strong working relationships and has exceptional leadership skills.
• Learns quickly and has strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ownership and pride in work product
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in accounting software, Sage is a plus
