Beacon Hill is seeking a temporary Immigration Paralegal to support a busy legal team in the Pittsburgh office of a well-regarded firm. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity (Monday through Friday) ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with prior immigration experience. The position is expected to last 3 to 6 months , with an immediate start date preferred due to an upcoming project requiring additional staffing.
The role will involve hands-on casework, client communication, and support for attorneys focused on immigration matters. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key responsibilities and qualifications:
Assist attorneys with preparation, filing, and tracking of immigration petitions and applications
Communicate with clients regarding required documentation and case updates
Organize and maintain immigration files and related records
Coordinate case timelines and ensure all deadlines are met
Conduct research and compile supporting documentation for filings
Previous experience as an immigration paralegal required
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage high volumes of information
Must be able to work on-site, five days per week in the Pittsburgh office
