*Position Overview: *Genesis Career College in Nashville, TN is seeking a qualified and passionate *Nail Instructor* to educate and inspire the next generation of nail technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nail care techniques and a dedication to teaching students the professional, ethical, and technical skills required for licensure and a successful career in the beauty industry.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Deliver comprehensive classroom and practical instruction aligned with state curriculum and school standards.
* Teach core nail care subjects including manicuring, pedicuring, nail enhancements, sanitation, nail art, and safety procedures.
* Create lesson plans, prepare classroom demonstrations, and provide individualized instruction when necessary.
* Monitor, assess, and document student progress and provide regular feedback.
* Encourage student engagement and foster a supportive and professional learning environment.
* Ensure compliance with Tennessee State Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners requirements.
* Stay current with industry techniques, tools, and trends to provide up-to-date instruction.
* Attend faculty meetings, trainings, and development workshops.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records for attendance, grading, and licensure preparation.

*Qualifications*

*Required:*

* Valid Tennessee Nail Technician License
* Current Tennessee Nail Instructor License
* At least 2 years of hands-on nail care experience in a salon or spa setting
* Strong understanding of manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements (acrylics, gel, dip), and sanitation protocols
* Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
* Dedication to student development and educational excellence

*Preferred:*

* Prior teaching or training experience in a cosmetology or nail program
* Familiarity with state board exam preparation processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
